Back to Work

The place to go in a hurry in Warkworth - nice place from what we saw which was very hurried. A shot of Shotoverjet by Queenstown - a nice andrenalin booster. Then the plane to carry us to Kuala Lumpur on the way to Europe. Malaysian Airlines from Auckland to KL were excellent in their own fashion as usual. KLM on the other hand had us tinned in in the middle of the central aisles like sardines from KL to Amsterdam (Malaysian Airlines were unbeleivably not allowed to access the KLM flight system to reserve seats for us when checking in at Auckland!!!) and they didn't make up for it with charm. I thought from time to time that I was on a bad Lufthansa flight (the blond hair). Apparently KLM are now owned by Air France - and so on a downhill spiral. SABENA (Belgian Airlines) were known to we expats in the middle east in the 1970's as 'Such A Bloody Experience, Never Again.' We'll think of something appropriate for KLM on these long winter nights ahead. Watch this space.
